UDT (ROOKIE)
The Urban Tactical Defense “Rookie” course is a 2-day course for intermediate shooters and advanced shooters.
DAY 1
Shooters will be introduced to the ergonomics of your weapons and equipment. Instructors will be refining the shooting fundamentals of the pistol and carbine weapon systems. Transitions from primary to secondary weapons will be introduced with the persistence of clearing malfunctions. Instructors will also closely work on specific skills required for the shooters to effectively move and shoot.
DAY 2
Introduction to footwork, weapon’s presentation, body positioning, balance and weight shift. These are the groundwork to achieve speed, flow and accuracy in order to move with angles effectively around walls, corners and barricades. Shooters will engage targets while shooting on the move. Undergoing high stress scenario, drilled with transitioning and clearing malfunctions. Lastly shooters will be engaging moving targets to test their accuracy while shooting on the move.
